Bioburden-controlled Curiosity rover

NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover and Powered Descent Vehicle in the Bioburden Controlled JPL Spacecraft Assembly Facility. NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory team had to perform on the order of 4500 samplings during the flight system assembly, testing and launch operations processing about 48 000 individual culture plates.
