Satnav spoofing

Counterfeit satellite navigation signals can mislead user receivers on the ground, causing them to misidentify their position with potentially serious consequences. A new software suite called SimSAFE, developed by an Italian company called Qascom with ESA backing, allows prototype receivers to be tested and tuned against simulated spoofing attempts.
