Galileo satellites meet

The fifth and sixth Galileo satellites met on their dispenser on 11 August 2014 in the S5 payload preparation facility of the Guiana Space Centre. On Thursday 21 August they will be launched together by Soyuz into medium-Earth orbit. Nore the protective panels covering the satellites' folded-up solar panels, which will be removed before launch.
