Kathrin Altwegg von der Universität Bern bei einem öffentlichen Vortrag 2014. Die Schweizer Physikerin leitet das ROSINA-Experiment. ROSINA ("Rosetta Orbiter Spectrometer for Ion and Neutral Analysis") ist mit 35 Kilogramm das schwerste Messgerät an Bord der Rosetta-Sonde der ESA, es besteht aus einem Drucksensor und zwei Massenspektrometern. Seit Anfang August 2014 misst es Gase in der Umgebung von Rosettas Zielkomet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
