Taken 2006, this photo shows a close-up of a leaf. Photographer Matthias Goetz from Vienna says, “The veins and cells of the plant look amazingly similar to a map of a town with its streets and quarters.” This photo was a runner-up in the Sentinel-2 ‘Colour vision’ photo competition.
