Supporting satcoms

At the Sway4edu2 launch event on 17 June 2015, the Member of the Executive Council for Education of the Mpumalanga Province in South Africa, Mrs Reginah Mhaule, expressed great satisfaction at the benefits that satcom could bring to rural schools.

The Sway4edu2 setup provides access to eLearning for teachers and students, media content and other online monitoring tools and information. The project is funded by ESA’s Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems programme and Openet Technologies.
