Sentinel-5 Precursor in testing

The Sentinel-5 Precursor satellite in testing at Intespace in Toulouse, France. The mission is the forerunner of Sentinel-5 and will provide timely data on a multitude of trace gases and aerosols affecting air quality and climate. The satellite carries the Tropomi imaging spectrometer. Data from the mission will be used for air-quality monitoring services through Europe’s Copernicus programme.
