The Gabonese Ministers of Defence, Environment and Electronic Economy and the Director General of the Gabonese Space Agency visited the AfriSAR campaign. Here, the group is in front of a Dornier 228, which carried DLR’s F-SAR radar used to generate images of the dense tropical forest. These images are similar to those that the Biomass satellite will capture from space once it is launched in 2020.
