Creation of a survival suit, meant to serve as an educational platform to teach people that if we keep abusing our environment without consciousness, the ultimate victim is the human.
The concept is inspired by the “Superfund Site” movie, describing locations containing extremely toxic chemicals that must be cleaned up. The twisted idea is to create a statement from the Earth, from the perspective of the victim ‘mother Earth’ rather than from the human perpetrators. Due to the destruction caused by human beings, the Earth punishes them by making them suffer through all kinds of extreme weather. Thus, the idea is to create survival suits that incorporate technology that detects, examines and analyses the body’s health conditions according to various extreme climates, while at the same time showing the data on the monitor of a smartphone-size device; this aims to arouse concern among people, since their health conditions are negatively affected.
Sensor implants in different parts of the suit (e.g. at the location of the heart, lungs, etc.) detect the heart rate, breathing and skin reaction to different extreme climates. A monitor displays the data indicating the wearer’s current condition compared to the data for a person performing in a normal, well-protected environment. Therefore, the wearer could be aware of his/her health condition deteriorating in comparison to normal data.
