ESMOD design for Couture in Orbit

ESA’s Couture in Orbit project to look at the future of fashion using space materials and technology will come to a close with a fashion show at London’s Science Museum on 25 May. This image was taken by Barry Macdonald at the Science Museum and shows a design from ESMOD Berlin students.

Five leading fashion schools around Europe took part in Couture in Orbit, each assigned a theme, an ESA astronaut and technical and fabric sponsors.
