Go to topicESA astronaut Tim Peake took this image from the International Space Station during his six-month Principia mission. He commented: "This cloud looks good enough to surf!"
Professional photographer Max Alexander has known Tim Peake from before his launch into space and gave Tim photography tips during his mission. Max comments: "I really like this composition. Warm embers of golden light catch this cloud wave stretching out across the picture, and set against an ocean of tranquillity. Far off in the distance the complementary blue colours of the atmosphere extend up into space, perfectly balancing the image."
