Ambassador platform for Italy

On 12 December 2016, an ‘ambassador platform’ set up by ESA in cooperation with Italy’s ASI space agency was inaugurated in Rome, Italy by Roberto Battiston, ASI President, and Nick Appleyard, Head of ESA Integrated Applications.

The ambassador platform will help Italian industry to benefit from Italy’s €19 million contribution to ESA’s Integrated Applications Promotion telecom programme announced at the Council Meeting at Ministerial Level in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 2 December 2016.
