Sentinel-6 radio occultation

The Copernicus Sentinel-6 satellites carry a radio occultation package that provides profiles of atmospheric parameters used by weather forecasting services. The advanced microwave radiometer provides accurate measurements of atmospheric water vapour that are used together with the precision radar altimeter to monitor sea-level variability and the rate of sea-level rise, both globally and regionally.
