CubeSat for Analysis of the Radiation Environment on the Moon, MoonCARE, proposed by the Von Karman Institute, German Aerospace Center, Tyvak International, Politecnico di Torino, and OHB would be a trio of 6-unit CubeSats with radiation monitors and astrobiology experiments will measure the lunar radiation environment and its effects on microorganisms with particular relevance to closed-loop life support systems.
