Checking alignment

An engineer uses a theodolite to precisely check the alignment of this Galileo Full Operational Capability satellite. This is important to ensure the satellite antennas and solar wings can be placed as precisely as possible. Note its S-band telemetry, tracking and telecommand antenna projecting from the top right side of the satellite.
