Perspective view of a 32 km-wide impact crater north of the Hellas basin that formed at time when the martian environment was much wetter, as seen in the fluidised nature of the debris excavated from it.
The oblique perspective view was generated using data from the Mars Express high-resolution stereo camera stereo channels. This scene is part of the region imaged on 3 May 2017 during Mars Express orbit 16890. The main image is centred on 70°E/22°S.
