ExoMars parachute deployment
The deployment of the large 35 m-wide parachute of the upcoming ExoMars mission was tested in a low-altitude drop test earlier this month. Following the deployment of a 4.8 m-wide pilot parachute, the main 35 m-diameter parachute is extracted. The main parachute is not yet fully inflated in this image.
