Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are becoming an increasingly popular way of learning about Earth observation. Experts from space agencies, scientists and data users contribute to this new way of learning. The courses give the opportunity for those with little prior knowledge as well as those in adjacent sectors to gain insight about how satellites deliver data and the applications it is used for.
