A new view captured on 22 November 2018 by one of the monitoring cameras onboard the BepiColombo Mercury Transfer Module, M-CAM 2, which looks towards the Mercury Planetary Orbiter. The image captures the medium-gain antenna (left), which at the time of the image was being used for communications with Earth. The image also clearly shows the magnetometer boom extending from the top of the image and pointing towards the solar array. One of the hold-down release mechanisms of the transfer module’s solar array is also seen in the top left of the image.
