Timepix

The Timepix chip sensor was originally developed through CERN’s Medipix collaboration and used in the Large Hadron Collider. Later it was incorporated into a satellite sensing instrument by the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of the Czech Technical University (IEAP CTU). Currently flying on ESA’s Proba-V satellite.
