Zimmerwald Observatory gets the first look

The first series of exposures of a fragmentation event in March 2019, taken by the 0.8 metre telescope ZimMAIN, which followed the debris cloud.

The animation reveals several small dots, each a fragment larger than a few tens of centimetres, with background stars appearing as long streaks.
