ESA signed contracts today with MT Aerospace and ArianeGroup to develop “Phoebus”, a Prototype of a Highly OptimisEd Black Upper Stage.
Ulrich Scheib, Director Head of Strategy, Business Development and Space Programs at MT Aerospace, Daniel Neuenschwander, ESA Director of Space Transportation and Jean-Christophe Henoux, Vice President Future Programmes at ArianeGroup signed at ESA Headquarters in Paris, France on 14 May 2019.
Jan Wörner, ESA Director General, André-Hubert Roussel, CEO at ArianeGroup, Jean-Yves Le Gall, President at France's CNES space agency, and Walther Pelzer, Head of the DLR Space Administration, were also present at the event.
