Tim and Samantha

ESA astronauts Tim Peake and Samantha Cristoforetti train in the Neutral Buoyancy Facility (NBF) at ESA's Astronaut Training Centre in Cologne Germany ahead of Samantha's participation in NEEMO 23.

During the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) 23 expedition, Samantha will lead a team of four aquanauts as they live and work in the world’s only undersea research station, Aquarius.
