Close-up imager up close

The ExoMars close-up imager, Clupi, underwent final calibration tests at ESA’s technical facility in the Netherlands, before being shipped to Stevenage to be attached to the rover’s drill unit. The imager will provide close-up views of the soil that is churned out by the drilling action. When the drill is in ‘stowed’ position the camera will be able to image the area in front of the rover.
