Signal trip from Space Station to Earth infographic

The audio and video signal from the International Space Station is sent down to Earth through a constellation of tracking and data relay satellites. The signal of this in-flight call travels from space to the United States, where the ISS master control centre in Houston relays the video to Sweden via satellite, like any other TV broadcast.
