Mars terrain

In order to replicate the surface of Mars in the classroom and perform the activities included in these resources in a more engaging way you can produce a 'Mars carpet'. For this, all you will need is a high resolution image of the surface of Mars. In ours, we have used a 4 x 2.5 meters mat made out of 510-grams frontlit (typical material used in banners) in order to ensure the necessary traction for the rovers.
