Transfer of Cheops launch vehicle to launch pad
The 3-stage section of the Soyuz launcher that will lift ESA’s Cheops satellite into space is transferred to the launch pad in a horizontal position and raised vertically in-situ. Launch is scheduled for 17 December from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
