ɸ-sat-1 has successfully enabled the pre-filtering of Earth observation data so that only relevant part of the image with usable information are downlinked to the ground, thereby improving bandwidth utilisation and significantly reducing aggregated downlink costs. AI-computed cloud mask tile where the colours represent the confidence/probability of cloud (dark blue is no cloud, yellow/green means high cloud probability).
