Plasma wind tunnel testing

Plasma wind tunnel testing of Bcomp 'Power Rib' natural-fibre composites, testing their 'demisability' in simulated reentry conditions to assess their suitability for use in satellite structural panels. Testing took place at the Institute of Space Systems, IRS, in Stuttgart Germany. IRS worked with ESA’s Materials section to develop the demisability test procedure.
