Matthias Maurer and Thomas Pesquet

ESA astronauts Matthias Maurer and Thomas Pesquet stand in front of a SpaceX rocket during a visit to the company's facility in the USA.

Both Matthias and Thomas will fly to the International Space Station in a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. Thomas will fly his Alpha mission in early 2021 with Matthias set to fly his very first space mission, known as Cosmic Kiss, in autumn 2021.
