The ‘feed array’ for the Biomass mission being tested with a mock-up of the satellite at the Test Centre at ESA's ESTEC site in Noordwijk in the Netherlands in 2020. The feed array is part of the satellite’s P-band radar instrument. The mission is designed to deliver completely new information on forest height and above-ground forest biomass from space for a better understanding of the carbon cycle.
