Galileo at ESTEC

A Galileo 'Batch 3' satellite during testing at ESA's ESTEC Test Centre, seen inside the Maxwell chamber for electromagnetic compatibility testing. Note the reflective underside of the satellite (relative to Earth when in orbit), which is kept in shadow in space to help maximum the stability of the atomic clocks mounted on the inside of this panel, and the six-sided search and rescue antenna below the main navigation antenna.
