Thwaites and Pine Island Glaciers in West Antarctica

Thwaites and Pine Island Glaciers lie in West Antarctica. Pine Island Glacier is one of the largest ice streams in Antarctica. It flows, together with Thwaites Ice Stream, into the Amundsen Sea, and the two ice streams together drain about 5% of the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
