Studying rocks in Norway

In July 2022, Andreas Mogensen went to the Lofoten Islands in Norway as part of the Pangaea course together with NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins. This was the fourth and final session of ESA's 2021/2022 Pangaea course.

The Pangaea training course is designed to provide astronauts with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills to be effective field scientists during future planetary exploration missions to the Moon and Mars.
