Go to topicDuring a video call at New Scientist Live, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen took questions from schoolkids on many different topics, including the psychological challenges of space exploration, how astronauts on the International Space Station are supplied with oxygen and water, and the duties that come with being commander of the Station.
Andreas also discussed his upcoming spacewalk that he will complete with NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara. The spacewalk is expected to take place on 12 October.
