Simulation of Juice's Lunar-Earth Gravity Assist
In August 2024, ESA's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) will return to Earth, one and half years after launch.
Using a unique, first-ever Lunar-Earth Gravity Assist, the spacecraft will use the gravity of Earth and its Moon to the energy it needs to move outwards through the Solar System towards Jupiter.
