Andreas Mogensen becomes commander of the International Space Station

On 26 September 2023, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen became commander of the International Space Station, taking over from Sergei Prokopyev. The crew of Expedition 69 was gathered to mark the handing over of the symbolic key of the International Space Station.
