Image captured by Andreas Mogensen during his Huginn mission.
In January 2024, ESA project astronaut and fellow Scandinavian Marcus Wandt joined Andreas on the Space Station as part of the Axiom-3 crew for a 21-day mission called Muninn, complementing the name of Andreas’s mission called Huginn. These are the names of the two ravens of Odin, the Norse god, which are said to have flown into the world every day to gain information to tell Odin every night.
As the Axiom-3 crew undocked the Space Station, Andreas captured this photo of the Crew Dragon and Earth underneath.
