This graph shows that at the time of the X1.1 solar flare emitted at 02:31 CET (01.31 UTC) on 23 March 2024, ESA's Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) satellite recorded a large increase in solar flux – measured as radio waves in the L-band by its Miras instrument.
