ESA and Vast memorandum signature at ILA

ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher and CEO of Vast Max Haot signed a Memorandum of Understanding for future Vast space stations during the Berlin International Airshow (ILA), Germany, on 6 June 2024.

The agreement outlines the parties’ intention to foster human spaceflight, science, technology and commercialisation development and explore collaboration in low Earth orbit destinations other than the International Space Station.
