ILA 2024 - Zero Debris Charter signature ceremony

Historic signature ceremony of the Zero Debris Charter. Attending the ceremony ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher, ESA Director of Operations Rolf Densing, former ESA astronaut and Representative of the Association of Space Explorers Thomas Reiter and BDLI Vice President Space, Marco R. Fuchs.

Aschbacher, Densing, Fuchs and Reiter were joined on the stage by 42 actors from industrial, academic and non-profit companies and institutions from Europe and beyond. The ceremony was moderated by ESA 'Protect' Accelerator Coordinator Quentin Verspieren.
