CubeSats ISTSat-1 and 3Cat-4 in flight ready configurations before integration in the 16U EXOpod Nova deployer in March 2024. Both ISTSat-1 and 3Cat-4 were developed by students as part of ESA Academy’s Fly Your Satellite! programme.
The ISTSat-1 (on the left) is the first nanosatellite project developed by students at the Instituto Superior Técnico / University of Lisbon in Portugal and the first Portuguese student CubeSat.
The ³Cat-4 (on the right) is a 1U CubeSat for Earth Observation developed by students from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain.
Members from both student teams travelled to Berlin, Germany, for the integration in March.
