ESA Open Days at ECSAT

On Saturday 29 June, ESA hosted its very first open day at its European Centre for Space Applications and Telecommunications (ECSAT), located on the Harwell campus in the UK. The ESA open day formed part of the Harwell open week, which took place from 24 to 29 June.

The open day featured sessions with British ESA astronaut Rosemary Coogan and British ESA astronaut reserve Meganne Christian to who took to the stage to discuss their experience of ESA’s astronaut selection process and answer questions from the audience.
