MMX mission patch

This is the mission patch designed by JAXA for the MMX mission. The centre shows the spacecraft with Mars in the background, surrounded by the two martian moons Phobos (left) and Deimos (lower right). The five blue arcs (blue for Earth) represent the five international organisations involved in the mission: JAXA, CNES, DLR, NASA and ESA. The expanding circles also visually represent the mission growing through collaboration. The outer orange circle represents the mission as a whole.
