Asteroid 2006 WB will safely fly past Earth on 26 November 2024 at 18:00 UTC (19:00 CET). It is between 70 and 150 m across and will pass within one million km of our planet.
2006 WB was discovered 18 years ago. Observations in 2006 and 2014 allowed astronomers to predict today's safe close approach and to rule out any potential impact in the next 100 years.
