EarthCARE data show Saharan dust plume

EarthCARE products from 4 March 2025, sampling a Saharan dust plume moving from Libya to Southern Europe. The image shows the optical extinction of clouds and aerosols from the lidar “A-EBD” product, and the “AC-TC” target classification from combining the radar and lidar measurements.
