Terraplasma Medical, initially supported by ESA Business Incubation Centre Bavaria, has developed a treatment for bacterial infection in wounds and other skin treatment devices by applying ‘cold plasma’ stemming from experiments on the International Space Station. They presented their products at the ESA stand at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2025 in Switzerland from 9–13 April 2025.
