Space is fully part of our daily life even though we are not always aware of it.

Space can now be considered as a true "economy" and is the source of jobs and innovations and the recent ESA Ministerial Council in Napoli cleary demonstrated that ESA can be a great tool to boost growth and competitiveness.

Despite the difficult economic situation Ministers of Space from 20 ESA Member States decided to allocate more than 10 Billion € in space for the next years.

This video gives several example illustrating what are the economic and social benefits of space.
