At ESA, the European Space Agency, and at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, scientists are trying to explore 'The Dark Side', the mysterious forces of dark matter and dark energy which are thought to rule the cosmos.
Several missions in space have given some elements on this phenomena and soon the Euclid space telescope will offer a unique point of view while on the ground in Geneva, looking at the atom level, the particule accelerator offers new observations.
This video explains where we are in this search combining the "macro" and "micro" views.
It includes interviews with René Laureijs, Euclid Project Scientist, ESA and Luca Malgeri, Physics coordinator for CMS experiment, CERN.
