With ESA’s Principia mission almost complete, British astronaut Tim Peake will shortly be returning to Earth in a Russian Soyuz spacecraft.

During his six-month stay onboard the International Space Station the ESA astronaut carried out a substantial amount of experimental work in microgravity, ran educational programmes from space, and played an important part in operational activities both onboard and outside the station.
